Ordained in 2011, Father Friel served as Parochial Vicar at Saint Anselm Church in Northeast Philly before earning a licentiate and doctorate in liturgical theology at The Catholic University of America. He has collaborated with the Vocation Office for the Diocesan Priesthood in an ongoing way since his ordination, and he presently serves as the Vocation Director for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
